California, 1986.
A group of students was going by bus to a camp
when suddenly in a lonely place the bus ran out of gas.
They
were with three teachers and the driver, he said that on the other side of the
road he saw lights, so they sent a group of students there to ask for help.
The
three teenagers went and the rest of the class waited on the bus. They waited
10 minutes that slowly became 30. At that point, they decided to go and watch
what happened to them.
The
lights were from a cheap motel called "California's Motel". It was
horrible.
One of
the teachers, Ms. Charlie, went inside looking for the students. Some seconds
after all the group -that was waiting outside, in the parking zone- heard the
scream of the teacher. She returned running and crying a lot.
All the
teachers started to help her and they tried to talk to her, but Ms. Charlie
kept crying and saying that she saw them.
Only Allison,
who was beside the rest of the group listened to all she said:
"I
saw them... -She said- All of them were there... B-but them... I saw a lot of
blood, everywhere... They were murdered."
Allison
could not believe that. She was in shock so she started to run away from there
and tripped over with a class mate, Ethan.
"Eyy...
Slow down, Allison"
"So-sorry" she whispered.
"What
happened?"
"Nothing"
she lied.
"Are
you sure?"
"It's
just that I don't like this place. I want to go home."
"Me
too. But that’s not the problem, right?”
On that
moment, Mr. Edmon, the chemistry teacher, stated to talk.
“Okay.
We’re going to be on the bus tonight. The driver is going to repair it and
tomorrow we will return home”
He
looked nervous, and Allison knew why. How could they explain the murder of
three students? What could they do with the bodies? She wanted to go away. She
wanted to be sure that what Ms. Charlie saw wasn’t true. At that whill moment
she had that thought, Megan, one of her friends, screamed.
And
there they were. The three students were hanging on the motel's gallery.
At
first, everybody was in shock. But then all the students looked at Ms. Charlie
that had a crazy face and was throwing gas on her body. Silence. And then, she
just struck a match and caught fire.
Allison
couldn’t see that anymore. Everyone started screaming and crying and the teachers
tried to extinguish the fire, but they couldn’t. After a couple minutes the
fire extinguished.
The
next morning, when the bus arrived at school, everybody can’t stop thinking
about the night before. They had the bodies at the back of the bus.
Some
weeks later, they noticed that, that wasn’t the first time that this kind of
things happened at “California Motel”. It had a long list of suicides,
murderers and strange events.
What is
worst is that “California’s Motel” had been demolished 30 years before that
creepy story happened.
